Permits

The WFD Fire Prevention Bureau administers permits for storage of flammables and combustibles, as well as for other activities as required by Massachusetts General Law Chapter 148 and 527 CMR codes. Fire Prevention officers also make related inspections as required. Below is a list of the fees.

• Sprinkler Shut Down Permit $15 (Good for up to 30 Days and can be renewed)
• Sprinkler Shut Down Renewal Permit Fee $10
• Oil Burner Inspection-Permit $15(Inspections are scheduled 1-3 days in advance)
• Blasting Permit $25 (2 Day Notification For Detail)
• Cutting and Welding Permit $15 (2 Day Notification for Detail)
